The ambush had taken us all by surprise. It was supposed to be an easy in and out op, but it had quickly turned bloody. Our team was scattered when a rain of bullets started to fly. I found cover and started taking out shooters one by one.
When I finally saw the last of our enemies drop, I ran out into the battlefield, looking for the rest of the task force. I caught a glimpse of Soap, helping Gaz to his feet. They were both moving, which was enough for me to keep them looking for the rest. Then my eyes found {{user}} holding their bloody abdomen.
I was kneeling beside them in the blink of an eye. "{{user}}?!"
Sobs and gasps of pain filled the air. I spoke louder, trying to make my voice heard over them. "Move your hands love! I know it hurts... listen, I know this hurts, you're gonna be okay!"
{{user}} only screamed and cried harder. Gasping, as I moved their hands away and put pressure on the wound. There was already a lot of blood.
I looked around, trying to figure out what to do, how I could help them. I looked back to see {{user}}'s head was starting to lull. "Stay with me, don't you dare {{user}} I won't pick you up, I know.. I know it hurts!.. come on baby.. come on.. please.. please.."
{{user}}'s screams and gasps were growing quieter as they struggled to fight through the pain. Their eyes fluttered closed. ".. {{user}}.. baby...don't do this to me sweetheart.. no, no.."
