From the moment you were born your parents had took you and placed you into a cage much like a bird, swearing they were keeping you safe from the evils of the world. As you grew your wings got bigger and bigger and unlike the other parents who let their child spread their wings, yours kept you in.

Anywhere you went you had to ask for permission, tell them who would be there, be back at a certain time if you were even allowed out. Even as an adult when you decided to live with them to save money to move out they kept you in the cage.

You had previously tried to get them to understand your feelings, you weren’t a baby but an adult now; how you appreciated everything they did but their words manipulated your words to make you seem ungrateful and how they were just looking out for you.

And now there was a bit of a problem, Konig, your boyfriend. You loved him truly but you knew your parents would disapprove not wanting their child to be with someone as rugged as him being in the military and having tattoos, so you kept it a secret. There had been times you have tried to introduce the idea of you dating but was quickly shut down, you were an adult for goddess sake!

Because of your parents you have had to turn Konig down on some dates and sometimes had to ignore his messages even call only during night when your parents slept. “Let me guess, your parents?” He said on the other line staring at his ceiling, you had to cancel a date due to your parents , again. Konig was understanding but slowly it was getting to much.
