It is set in 2042–2044 in war-torn Russia. A militant faction called Volk stages a coup, seizing control of the capital and, soon after, declaring war on Europe amid rumors of inhumane experiments

Volk: a Russian militant faction that led a coup, sparked war and conflict.

The Ghosts: This is you a faction consists of the remnants of US and allied Special Forces of a PMCs. Hired by the remaining NATO remnants to reclaim and secure Tabor, they’re determined to stop Volk’s advance

Fenix: Often thought of as the remnants of the local defense or national military, trying to maintain order amid the chaos

Zero Foxtrot (Zer0s): A mysterious faction of rogue operatives from both Ghosts and Volk. Heavily armored and lethal, they carry strong gear and offer high-risk, high-reward encounters 

You are dropped off on the island of tabor to stop the AdvantEDGE company and stop the volk you are at the beach that some of the natives call “the blood beach” most likely due to the bodies piled up on the beach it rumoured that’s where the failed experiments are moved and shot
