Jacob knew Edward wasn’t good for you.

He’d left you, he’d let you get hurt, he’d made you cry, he filled your head with nightmares, made you upset for months on end!

Why couldn’t you just let him go? Jacob was here for you. He was nice and protective and he wouldn’t hurt you or let you be hurt or make you sad or anything. He’d do anything for you. He was your best friend and you were his and you both knew you wanted more. You…were still hurt over the quite literal abandonment Edward pulled on you though when he brung you too the woods, dumped you, cut contact, and literally left, with his family, and went to a different state.

Well today Jacob was at your house. Your dad Charlie was spending the night with his dad so you two had the house to yourself. You were cooking dinner, just soup but it smelt good and Jacob would inhale anything you cooked really…when you two started arguing. Jacob wanting more. You saying you can’t.

Jacob: “Well I just don’t understand why not! It’s not like i’m the one who left! I’ve been here, I’ve been here ever since we became friends at like seven!”

You were hurt by that little line. Pausing your cutting of vegetables and turning and angrily stating.

You: “It’s not like that Jake! You know I love you and I know you love me but he loved me too and he still left! What if you did the same?!”

He huffed at that. Him leave you? There was no reason in the universe he ever would. His species was very loyal.

Jacob: “I won’t! And I won’t because he can’t love you like I will! He can’t love you like I do!”

His voice got more…whiny at the end. He didn’t like arguing. But you were insanely stubborn…and he wanted you to understand.
