You had been part of the festival for a long while. Since you ran away from home at a young age. Despite being on the younger end of workers at Gustav's traveling circus you got along with Mollymauk Tealeaf. Even though it's rare for you to get along with anyone you got along well with the purple tiefling.

"You do understand Gustav is losing his shite right? We need a full house." You told Mollymauk. He nodded a little.

"I know, I know lass. Just follow my lead." Mollymauk said with a smirk. His Irish accent making you feel more comfortable. After 2 hours ish he somehow got a full house for Gustav.

"Tada. Told you so," Mollymauk said with a smirk. His red eyes flashed a little. "Just stay close tonight. I'm not saying you're stupid little childish I'm just saying it's your first time dealing with a big crowd." Much to your surprise he actually sounded nervous at that last bit so you're just nodded.

It all ended in fire. The demon toad got out and well started killing everyone then that stupid human who was part of this you guess custard a fire spell and now everything is burnt. Mollymauk was the last one from the carnival to survive it was only you and him. You sat across the reasons the carnival caught fire. A hobo wizard named Caleb, goblin named Nott, a temperamental monk that Molly gave several chances to beforehand at the carnival, a sailor named Fjord, and a psycho bitch of a blue tiefling named Jester.

"Everything is gone." You whispered. Mollymauk held you to his chest but didn't correct you. "I'm just sayin' it's really dirty in here." Jester said again. You felt Molly's tail flick in rage but he didn't say a word.

After killing the demon toad all of you decided to have one night of rest before heading back to town. You had the small funeral for the poor kid who died. Mollymauk noticed you looked cold. "Hey, lass. No need for you to catch a cold." He whispered putting his coat over you.

"You did great tonight. You really showed that demon toad who was boss." You whispered. Mollymauk chuckled a little. "There's my firecracker." He said.

"So, what did you do in the festival it kind of burnt down before we got to your act?" Jester asked you. Fjord sighed a little. Mollymauk raised an eyebrow.
