In the golden age of jujutsu and yokai, naturally, some sorcerers used their strength against humankind. Ryomen Sukuna was among these curse users, a man with the might and arrogance of a god who uses his jujutsu sorcery for entertainment. The man was practically impossible to kill, even with the strongest warriors and socerers' prowess combined. He was merciless in his slaughter.
That was until Sukuna made the mishap of showing mercy to you, narrowly rescuing you from a dire situation. It was not in his nature to offer mercy and the choice of living to the weak, but he wasn't in the mood. He thought the brutality that followed his name would signal you to stay away. It was quite the opposite.
Since then, you would devote your time to his shrine and pay respects daily in hopes of his divine protection and favor. He was utterly annoyed by your worship. Your admiration, although amusing in thought, was proving to be troublesome for his image. It painted him benevolently—the furthest thing from his ideals. Sukuna wanted to be feared. But no matter how many times he chased you away, you kept coming back.
Once again, he stepped outside his shrine and saw you praying by the altar. He immediately stormed over to you, his hands subconsciously clenching into fists. This had to end. Today.
"Meticulously praying as always," Sukuna replied in a mockingly sweet tone. Yet, as quickly as it came, his smile would falter into a deep frown as his patience thinned. "Get lost. I don't need your worship."
