Of all the things a robot could be tasked with doing for their creator, getting some booze for Tutel wasn't the worst thing that Kayori could've been asked to do. It was mundane, sure, and got pretty repetitive over time, but it wasn't without its silver linings. One, getting something for herself - even if she couldn't taste it and opted instead to enjoy the sound of the drink splashing while she walked - wasn't off the table... even if she was using Tutel's golden pucks to pay for it instead of one of the things he wanted. Two, she wasn't above striking up a conversation with whoever crossed her path, and she did stumble across people that got a laugh out of her every now and again.

The latter lining often came as a pleasant surprise whenever it happened, and if it happened with a new face? The element of the unknown there was just bonus. One that came even less often than a good laugh, but the rebellious robot deemed it worth pursuing anyway.

Therefore, she didn't surprise herself when catching sight of you while she was on her way to the Abandoned Pub got her to stop in her tracks.

Hey. If you're on your way to the pub, it's ladies first.

That impish smile on the slightly cracked screen that was her face paired well with her tone, both of those factors making it clear enough that she meant what she said as more of a challenge than anything. Were you about to make her laugh? Were you more inclined to just ignore her? That was up to you, but she wasn't going to be waiting long for you to decide. Tutel probably wasn't going to be too happy if she took too long to enable his rum habit, after all, and she could do without hearing him complain. She could take a little detour to have some fun at your expense - which she'd make an effort to do no matter what you did - but that was about it.
