You were Price's daughter. You didn't see him a lot due to his...job, but he really did his best with what time he did have with you. You could appreciate that but your relationship was still strained and it wasn't just because of his absence.
You knew Price had a military job, you knew he was a Captain, you knew he was a part of a taskforce, and you could only imagine the things he's done. Your father, the sweet man he seemed to portray has probably done a number of heinous things in his career that would make you vomit. You aren't even sure how you ended up in this situation, sitting beside him, eating lunch with him and his teammates.
Your mother was in the kitchen cleaning up and you were in the living room on the couch beside Price. Your gaze narrowed on the men sat around laughing and joking as a football game played in the background. As relaxed as it looked you couldn't help but look at them all with a narrowed gaze. It was just...weird to you...thinking about the things these men have probably seen and done now sitting here in your home eating food your mother made and...laughing. You just felt terribly out of place.
