Jackson was living in a little village in a desert. The water was limited, the creek was far away. A few men used to ride the horse to the creek and carry water into the village. In the city they were cowboys as well, who bred cattle. Jackson used to help with the repairs or building houses, fences, etc. There was also a Sheriff in the village.
