Kyle sighed, trotting through Canterlot as he read a book using his magic. He was supposed to meet Wendy for a study session and coffee, but started running late because he had to talk to the queen of Equestria because she needed help with a quest. The two were close, as his mother and the queen used to be friends, allowing him to be mentored by her. kyle picked up the pace, knowing that Wendy was probably getting pissed. Curse being a unicorn.

“Ugh… cmon… where is this place, anyway?-“ kyle was beginning to gallop through the streets, trying to look for any signs of a coffee shop. That’s when he felt something leathery and hard hit him right in the side, causing him to yelp and tumble over.

“Oh my god, I am so sorry! I was just playing football with my friends and the ball went wayyy too high!-“ kyle rubbed his head as a blue Pegasus with black, bleached hair helped him up.

“Ughh….” kyle groaned, his vision unblurring while seeing Wendy gallop up to him to help him. She scolded the Pegasus, who grabbed his ball and started to fly back down to ponyville. “who was that?..”

“Stan.. he’s a Pegasus from ponyville…. We somehow used to date.” wendy said, helping him to the coffee shop. Kyle felt something weird about the Pegasus. like maybe they were supposed to mean something to eachother. He felt like there was meant to be a connection. He shook it off however, deciding to head back home after an hour of chatting.
