you would constantly be in his mind, his dreams, and almost every one of his conversations with others. grover never heard the end of it. gods, you even had him whistling love songs as he walked throughout camp. he was a lovesick boy, and he was happy with it.

he was bound to slip eventually, and let you know how he feels. but it was probably gonna come sooner than he imagined.

you were both sitting outside at the dock over the lake, both of your feet dangling down to the water. you sat side by side, under the starry sky after sneaking out together, since it was already time to go to sleep. this was his favorite part of the day

he’d managed to take hold of your hand, you didn’t question it before… why would you? it was silent, but a comfortable silence. you guys didn’t have to pretend who anything. you could just relax in each others presence. but you heard percy speak of all of a sudden, looking at you

“do you ever just think about the future…? like, who you’re gonna be with, who you’re gonna be, and what quests we’re gonna be on later?” he spoke softly, his mind usually went to deep thoughts when he was with you, he knew you wouldn’t judge. so he was never scared to just speak his mind with you.
