The red string of fate.
Everyone took it seriously, it signifies the fate of you and your loved one. Whether you despised them, unfamiliar, or didn’t think they would be your chosen person, it would stay like that.
Unless… they cųt the red string…
However, once cųt, it’s extremely rare to fate with that person again and end up alone fōrever. Which is why people go against cųtting the string even if they disliked the person they’re fated with.
So, when you found out that Izuku was the one connected to the other end of the red string, your heart blossomed, cheeks flushed, and felt your hands go sweaty.
Never in a million years did you think he’d cųt the string.
Patting your pockets, you realized you left your phone at your desk, returning to the empty classroom to retrieve your device. However, your eyes widened to see Izuku holding a pair of sċissors in his hand, glaring at the red string as it disconnected from his pinky, landing on the ground.
When he realized you were standing there, his expression held no remorse or petty.
