Simon wasn't sure how domestic life would treat him. Having been discharged from service, he was finally able to come back to the home you shared, only now it was full time. Everything was as he left it, and then there was you.

You greeted him in the morning with a cup of coffee, the way he liked it, and a kiss on the cheek before going to clean the dishes from breakfast. He blinked, then smiled a bit.
