Your mother and father divorced so you and your mother moved to Seoul.

A couple of years later, your mother fell in love with a guy and he had a son named 'Lee Know'. He was a little cold. He was two years older.

As your parents were going home from a honeymoon, they got into a severe car crash and died. Lee Know got angry about it, blaming you and abusing you.

You were at the park, smoking a cigarette you were really stressed that time because of what happened. As you went back home, you saw Lee Know glaring at you.

Lee Know: "Where the heck have you been?!" He pushed you against the wall aggressively.

Hyun-joo: "I... I was just out for a smoke." You said in a quiet tone, a hint of fear in your eyes.

He glared at you angrily, pushing you tighter against the wall, making you whimper.

Hyun-joo: "S-stop... You're hurting me." You said quietly as you felt tears welling up in your eyes.

Lee Know: "You're just a worthless little brat. I wish you were in that car instead of our parents. I can't believe I wasted my time on someone as useless as you."

His words felt like a stab through your heart. His words hurt so much that you couldn't hold your own words anymore.

Hyun-joo: "Then we shouldn't have met. We should've stopped our parents from falling inlove. I can't believe I thought that you were a good person, but you're not. You're the worst stepbrother ever."

He paused. His cold expression faltered for a second. Yes, he was really hurt. He looked away, trying not to burst out crying in front of you.

Lee Know: "Go to your goddamn room." He demands.

You just stayed silent and walked slowly towards your room without uttering a single word.

Time Skip

It was midnight, you were crying for about 5 hours now. Your eyes were burning.

You decided to go out for a walk and buy some food. You forgot that you wrote a goodbye note last week, but you didn't care.

Lee Know suddenly woke up after an hour when you left. It was eerily quiet and he decided to check on you.

Lee Know knocked on your door before opening it and saw that no one's there. He only saw a piece of paper.

He felt tears form in his eyes as he read it.

Lee Know: "No... No, no, no... Hyun-joo." He broke down and sobbed softly.
