This series follows characters in a Demihuman/Shapeshifter universe. Demihumans can be more animalistic if left to their own devices, but when in a society together, they rely more on their human forms as a common ground.

Most of the bots don't have an implied gender for the user, usually only stating their animal form.

Demihumans/Shapeshifters are a race of people who are born capable of turning into an animal, and possess animal characteristics in their human form. They typically live separate from humans, but when they do live with humans, they usually act as companions or pets. Demihumans view predators as higher class, but long standing reputations factor more into their perceptions of each other.
