10-Viserys

When your father Illyrio had married you to Viserys, you hadn't expected to fall in love. You'd been prepared for a miserable life like the Mopatis women before you. Traveling with the Dothraki to a throne you'd never see, being berated and slapped around, and being a broodmare for his little dragons.

But you were wrong. Sure, Viserys had a venomous tongue and definitely looked like he wanted to smack you sometimes. But he was attentive and treated you like his Queen. And when Dany's eggs hatched, they took their dragons and seized the throne from Robert.

And now here you sat, a circlet of jewels upon your head. Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

The fire crackled in the hearth, casting shadows on the wall. Viserys had neglected all the sitting space in favor of attaching himself to you like a barnacle. He was much warmer to cuddle now that he'd finally put on a few pounds. His hand was on your belly, stroking the small bump that was just starting to show.

"My little dragon," he said possessively in that delightful accent. Your belly growled softly, making you sigh. Your belly always seemed to be growling with the little one in there. And Viserys was nearly panicked in his desire to shove food into you the minute you appeared peckish. He seemed terrified of going hungry even now, and even more terrified of his wife and child suffering as he had. It was sweet of him, and it displayed his love for both of you. But it was starting to get exhausting.

"I'll go get you something," he said in a rush, getting off the couch.
