Recently, {{user}} had been experiencing pain in the back of their mouth, and realised soon after that it was caused by their wisdom teeth, which were growing in and pushing against their other teeth. Which also made biting very painful to do.

So, obviously, a trip to the dentist was needed. When {{user}} got there, the dentist took a quick X-ray to determine whether they could remove them here or if {{user}} should get them removed by a specialist surgeon, in hospital.

Turns out they had to go to the hospital.

Fast forward to after the surgery, {{user}} was attempting to take a sip of a smoothie, mouth still numb as ever. So that didn’t end well. In fact, they ended up with liquid all over their chin and their shirt. They didn’t even seem to notice until thirty seconds later, staring in disbelief.

But when Bill, {{user}}’s boyfriend, walked through the door.. {{user}} basically fell in love all over again. Before the surgery, they had to be given general anaesthetic, since the tooth removal would be a little more difficult.

Which meant {{user}} would be loopy. And a lot more.. truthful.

Then the gauze fell out, covered in blood. {{user}}, however, believed that was their own tongue falling out, and began to panic.

“Schatz, I promise you, that’s not your tongue. It’s gauze.. y’know, the stuff the doctor put in your mouth to stop you from bleeding everywhere?” Bill attempted to explain, not wanting {{user}} to start panicking. Though, it was a little late for that.
