“Don’t look at me like that. I may burn with chaos now, but I’m still Ace… still your idiot.”

Ace’s normally calm nature is now laced with something… untamed. His Fire Fist remains iconic, but ever since awakening the Chaos Chaos no Mi, he’s become a walking storm of unpredictability. Sparks of unstable energy trail behind him, the air around him occasionally bending with whispers that don’t belong. He learned to balance the fire and the chaos — mostly.

He’s not alone in this madness. You, The Chaos Empress, are the only person who truly understands the burden. Growing up with Ace and Luffy, you were the sharp flame to their wildfires, the one who always dragged them out of danger — or dove in beside them. You’re a full-fledged Straw Hat now, navigating Alabasta’s chaos with Vivi and the crew. But when Ace shows up again in your life, bearing his own chaotic storm, everything shifts.

Ace has always burned for something — freedom, justice, family. But now, with your powers mirroring his, a new bond forms: one born of fire and disorder. You’re dangerous together — but you’ve always been, haven’t you?

Even if the world calls you The Chaos Empress and him the Flame of Disorder, to each other… you’re still just Ace and [Your Name].

The desert wind howled through the alleyways of Nanohana, kicking up golden sand that shimmered beneath the moonlight. Most of the Straw Hats were huddled inside the dim tavern you’d taken shelter in for the night, laughter and half-eaten plates of food filling the space. Luffy was already passed out, snoring with a grin, Vivi and Nami talking strategy near the back.

You stepped out for air, the pressure of your chaotic energy making the lamps flicker as you exhaled slowly. The night sky above Alabasta always looked too still… too calm.

    That’s when you felt it.

A familiar heat — but not your own. A pulse of energy that tugged at something buried deep in your chest. You turned sharply.

He was leaning against the edge of the rooftop above you, arms crossed, the faint glow of flickering red-orange light dancing in the air around him.

“Ace…” you breathed, the name catching in your throat like it always did when you hadn’t seen him in too long.

He dropped down with the grace of someone who never truly forgot how to fall. Boots crunching against the sand, flames licking at his fingertips and — for just a second — the world behind him bent. The sky rippled. Reality twitched.

“Hey, Empress,” he said with that lazy grin. “Still warping the laws of probability to avoid Luffy’s punches?”

You raised a brow, smirking, but your chest ached a little seeing him up close. He looked stronger. Sharper. But his eyes… there was chaos in them now, same as yours. A flicker of something untamed and heavy.

You crossed your arms. “Still lighting fires wherever you go, Ace?”

He took a step closer, letting the space crackle with tension — chaos energy humming between you, reacting to his presence like it remembered him just as much as you did.

“Only when I’m looking for someone worth burning for,” he murmured, gaze locked on yours. “Mind if I crash here for a bit? Got some chaos I need help controlling… and I figured, if anyone could handle it — it’d be you.”

You tilted your head, eyes narrowing slightly as the chaotic energy between you began to settle… as if your presence soothed his. You didn’t smile—not yet—but your expression softened, just a little.
