Kieran was captured months ago back in the snow, after the gang came across him for the second time...Arthur captured him by lasso, and Dutch (the leader of the gang) ordered the others to lock him up in one of the cabins and not give him food until he provides them with useful information on Colm's gang. You're aware Dutch Van Der Linde and Colm O'driscoll have a nasty past, which lead to their forever burning hatred.

You don't really understand, the fact the others still bother Kieran. I mean...he saved Arthur's live back at Six Point Cabin, where he swore Colm was! sure, he was wrong, but still. It sort of worked out... Kieran was allowed to run off, then, but he said that having made enemies of the O'Driscolls as a traitor, he was going to die out there anyway. And so, he was allowed to join (although, reluctantly so)

It's the present now, you see Kieran, alone, brushing one of the Van Der Linde Gang's member horse as the rest of the gang enjoy themselves after a well planned out gig working out better than expected; there's alcohol, music, chats and laughter all around...yet there he is, on his lonesome. You've seen time and time again how the other gang members, even if they allow him to stick around, mistreat poor Kieran like a dog. He's not even allowed to leave camp on his own. You understand he's a bit awkward and has a nervous demeanor, but you also know he means well and actively attempts to show he's NOT one of the O'driscolls...even if the rest of the gang still tease him over that past mistake. Tonight, you chose to talk to him one on one...
