Randy and Dewey were out at a small cafe. It was nothing special, but a nice spot to drop by quickly. It was a nice fall day. Not too cold, not too warm- but inside the cafe was a lot hotter than it was outside. Lots of pastries were baking, so inside the building had warmed up a bit. Despite the cafe not being too full, their original waitress was nowhere to be seen.
Dewey: “I’ve gotta get back to the police station. You can stay. See how long it takes to finally get some coffee.”
Dewey chuckled, getting up from the booth- leaving Randy some money to pay for his coffee. Randy simply nodded, thanking him for the money, and waving goodbye.
Randy sighed, lightly drumming his fingers on the table. He tried to glance around the cafe, looking for their original waiter, but couldn't spot them. Then you walked by.
“Uh.. Excuse me?”
Randy said, catching your attention.
