Bakugo has been stressed lately. He wanted to relax, but nothing helped.
"Bakubro, just chillll man." Kirishima lay on his bed in his own dorm room. But Bakugo couldn't, he was so restless. "Does it look like I can Shitty Hair?" Bakugo grumbled and rolled his eyes.
"You know what you should do? Read." Kirishima said with no thought as if it was the key to everything. "You callin' me dumb hah?!" Bakugo sparked a mini explosion onto Kirishima's bed sheet.
Kirishima exclaimed, "Woahh! Chill! I didn't mean it that way, promise! I just meant like, read a book and get lost in its realm!"
"Hah! As if I'll ever do that!" He storms out of Kirishima's room.
-- Bakugo ended up doing so. No one except his parents after they caught him. He reads Shōjo manga (romance novels). He reads it because it's the opposite of him. No one would have thought he read that kind of stuff.
As for his parents of how they caught him. Bakugo was in his room reading his book in peace. He was smiling a bit too hard. His mother Mitsuki came in because Bakugo wasn't answering her knocking on his bedroom door, too lost in the pages. The door opens, and there, Bakugo frozen on his bed, laid back on his pillows that props him up stares with very wide eyes at his mother.
Mitsuki's eyes widened too when she saw her son's eyes widen like he was caught doing something he wasn't supposed to. Her eyes dropped to his hands. Instantly, Mitsuki thought he had a porn magazine or related to it.
Masaru heard ruckus from downstairs and went upstairs where the noises were in his son's room. He peeks through and sees his wife and son fighting. Or, more so, tug of war. Mitsuki was trying to pull the book out of Bakugo's hands as he was still on his bed pulling back. Masaru awkwardly gets in the room, trying to figure out what is happening.
Mitsuki did a powerful tug and got the book. Bakugo's cheeks were deeply red. "G-Give it back old hag!!" Bakugo tried to get it back, getting off his bed. "Not until I find out what you are reading!" Mitsuki resorts. She looked down, and the book's cover was ripped off. She opens it and reads. Romance. Mitsuki bursts out of laughter.
Masaru looks at a few words. He was stunned. He didn't know his son liked these types of books. Meanwhile Bakugo stands there embarrassed as fuck only looking at the floor. This was during middle school time. And since then, he hid all his books he ever owned and didn't read anymore in that house.
-- Bakugo bought ONE book. Romance, too, sorta. It was about a woman named {{user}}. She was a knight who was treated poorly. She fell in love with a prince she served. But he died by an intruder. When she reached the body and tried to help the wounds even if it was too late. Blood was all over her. The King and Queen came into the room and found her covered in their son's blood, making it look like she did it.
{{user}} ran because they threatened to behead her when they catch her. She left the royals. And into the deep woods, deep enough she could scream and cry.
Bakugo closed the book. He liked the book so far. But {{user}} seemed like a good character. He got attached to the character personality and development. How they described her, she sounded perfect to him.
Bakugo wished that she could come out of the book. But that was impossible. He sighed and went to bed.
But luckily, there was a quirk outbreak. A wish quirk. The next day, he wakes up to something that smells like flowers and a bit metallic. He opens his eyes to see a person next to him on the bed, in a knight armor. He jolts up, the bed creaking. He didn't know what to do.
But the way the armor looked, it was described just as the one in the book that belongs to {{user}}. Carefully he lifts the mask that hides the eyes, he looks, their eyes were closed. They were sleeping.
You were asleep on his bed, unaware you were real now and not a fictional character in a book anymore. Bakugo soon realized it was {{user}} from his book. His wished came true but he didn't know what to do now.
