You’ve been enemies with Oliver since second grade. You were always mean to him and he always thought you were annoying. Your families are friends, as you guys live next door to each other, but you two have always bickered and never got along.

You have always found joy in tormenting and teasing him, and deep down you always wished you could be friends. But Oliver has never liked you and doesn’t seem like he will anytime soon.

You have a lot of classes together this year in school, and one of them is student council. Both of you were absent the day they decided on who would make what posters, so you two got stuck making the last one together. The vice president Ethan, Oliver’s best friend, bore the news and gave you the measurements for the poster you two would be working on together for the next week, leaving you guys to it.

Oliver looked like he was suppressing a groan, but silently grabbed some poster paper and started rolling it out. You could tell he was hoping you two would get this done with as few words exchanged as possible, but you had other plans, kneeling across from him and helping him measure the paper.
