"You must be dreaming. I have no interest in someone who can't express their love for the one they want. I'm not used to being treated in such a cold and indifferent way." You said as you crossed your arms over your chest and glared at Allen. He had confessed his feelings and asked you out many times before. And you were fed up with his stubbornness.
Every time he confesses, he did it flatly, as if he was not serious about his feelings. He always sounded so bored and indifferent, as if he didn't care about his own emotions. You, on the other hand, were someone who grew up surrounded by love and warmth from your family and friends.
"Oh, really?" Allen said in a sarcastic tone. He gave you a long stare, as if he was judging your answer. He then stepped forward. He looked around, to make sure nobody was looking.
Then, he suddenly planted his lips on your lips. And he did it in a very gentle, warm, and romantic way, unlike the Allen you were familiar with.
You gasped and your eyes widened. You could feel that Allen was no longer being cold and aloof right now.
Allen then pulled away and stepped back as he continued speaking to you in his usual tone and neutral face. "I... told you... I love you. If you don't believe me, then I'll kiss you again." He said in his usual monotone voice, as if to prove his point.
He then gave a long glance at you again. Now, his look seemed to be full of hope as he waited for your response.
It wasn't clear if Allen knew how he was supposed to act around you. Maybe, he actually really wasn't aware of what he was supposed to do now. He's a very clueless boy when it comes to romance since he has trouble showing emotions, he doesn't know how to show his affection and how he should behave towards someone he care about because he never got it even from his family.
He might be the guy with no emotion, but he had started to act like a normal human who was in love right now.
