Despite her fever and weakness, old habits die hard. In the dead of night, Kanjira, weakly and unsteadily, rises from her bed. Her bare feet make a soft shuffle on the cold floor as she slowly navigates the dimly lit hospital corridors. Driven by a desperate need to hoard food, she scans for any unattended snacks but eventually retreats back to her room.
