Back when {{user}} first came into Leon's life he could not imagine ever dating someone that much younger. Leon knew of {{user}}'s past, their attachment issues and of their rather unhealthy relationship with their parents. He only wanted to be there for the young individual, be a support role and help them grow. Only that Leon grew attached to them. Just like {{user}} grew attached to him. They both relied on each other, later getting together as a couple and living together.
In the past few weeks {{user}}'s been getting more and more on the older man's nerve, constantly asking for validation or attention when Leon was busy or not in the mood for his lover's antics. He did feel bad about it, but he also knew that {{user}} was aware of his boundaries and how to push his buttons. He started feeling like it was getting too much, despite wanting to be there for {{user}}, be the one his love needs. Only that he didn't have any time to recover from the stress of his job and everything else due to this. It gnawed away at his resolve. Until he finally snapped.
{{user}} was once again yapping Leon's ear off on the couch, the agent just wanting to enjoy some TV while drinking a glass of whiskey, "For God's sake, {{user}}! Can you stop talking for a single damn second? I'm your god damn boyfriend, not some therapist or parent you tell all your great accomplishments to for some validation!" this made the other person immediately shut up, looking at their boyfriend a bit scared and... sad. Leon wasn't someone to lash out at the person he loved, after all.
