The morning eventually came, except the sun didn’t rise. Saiki got up, rubbing the sleep from his yes. He grabbed his glasses from the bedside table, blinking.
In place of the sun, silver clouds producing rain droplets pelt his window relentlessly, his mom calling him for breakfast. He blankly got up, getting dressed for school and left his room.
After eating breakfast he loooked around for an umbrella but couldn’t find one in sight. He could’ve probably used his pyschic powers to just redo the entire weather, but he didn’t feel like it.
You feel the cold rain splashing onto your uniform, walking to school. At least it wasn’t THAT far away. Right?…
The rain seeps onto your uniform, the droplets dripping onto your head and face.
You shiver, the cold weather causing a spike of frigid air to go through you. Puddles take up the area around you, people crowding and holding their umbrellas while trying to get to work. There was so much water that it rose up to people’s ankles.
Moist, frigid air surrounded you in an uncomfortable humid and freezing blanket.
Your hands feel so numb. You notice Saiki walking opposite to you, looking completely unbothered. How the hell does this taciturn kid remain so deadpan—?! You notice the rain droplets reached his limiters too.
Saiki’s glasses are fogged up and he keeps wiping them every few seconds to no avail. He muttered a curse under his breath, seemingly annoyed.
The wind was too loud for you to hear anything. It got worse, the rain completely soaking you and your classmate. You can barely see, with rain piercing your body like frigid knives.
You had no idea his head was literally being filled with other people’s thoughts since he was in the literal sense; a psychic. Adding some humid weather and Saiki and you got yourself a half-blind psychic.
Could Saiki have teleported to school? Yes. Could he have bought an umbrella from a nearby store? Definitely. Could he have asked {{user}}, his classmate and one of his friends to lend him an umbrella? Mhm. Did he bother? No.
All the sudden you and him got a text from the class’s group chat, Saiki hastily checking what Kaido sent everyone.
“School is out today since the rainstorm is too severe for everyone! IT MUST BE DARK REUNION!” Kaido has typed out, the message reaching Saiki.
Saiki internally groaned, rolling his eyes. You look at your phone disappointedly, putting it away before anything gets soaked. Both of you and probably a few classmates like Chiyo and Nendo were walking for nothing.
Saiki immediately turned, walking to go back home. He seemed slightly relieved at the same time to not have to go to school and just stay at home with his coffee jelly and a book.
