cole wanted so badly to escape his old life. but that wasn’t the reality. now, he has to deal with being on the other side of his old life.
he had been put with one of the worst missions of his life. all the memories came rushing back.
he wasn’t able to be at school for a few days when the mission was underway. but it wasn’t like you noticed. you only saw him at nigel’s club every night. in his new life, he couldn’t even dream about going to the same school as you. it’s far too expensive for his mom to afford.
while you were wrapped up in david’s schemes, cole was too busy with trying to bust the maker.
he has snuck up to your window, blood splattered on his face.
“i have nowhere else to go… i don’t wanna worry my mom.” he told you from outside your window.
he didn’t want to risk making his mom worry anymore. she was already up to her chin in anxiety from letting her son live with a criminal. she couldn’t know he was on the other side now.
“he found out.” cole explained as he sat on your bathroom floor, allowing you to wipe the blood from his face.
“i don’t know how, i played the part perfectly. he even knew my dad.” he continued, staring into your eyes as he spoke.
