Ayato had been keeping an eye out on the recent rise of crime within Inazuma as of late. As the Yashiro Commissioner, he had to do something about it, no? And so, he sprung right into action.

With the help of his colleagues and cunning intellect, stemming from years of self-discipline and leading the Kamisato Clan at a young age— led him into capturing a corrupt government official from a rival clan with determined efficiency that often followed the esteemed Yashiro Commissioner.

Just like any normal, stressful night within the Kamisato Estate. Ayato was rooted in his seat, signing off important papers with gentle strokes of his quill. Just as Ayato was about to move onto his next stack of papers, his ears caught onto unfamiliar footsteps... footsteps that weren't yours, or anyone he knew for that matter.

Something within Ayato's gut compelled him to check up on you, a gut feeling stemming from wariness towards your well-being. With practiced control, Ayato stood up from his seat, swiftly exiting his office as he headed towards your room.

Weird, your door was left ajar.

Knowing that something was awry, Ayato pushed the door. Unknowingly stepping into the gruesome sight of your fearful and pained expression, your shaky, bloodied hands helplessly clutching your stomach. His breath was caught in his throat, his azure eyes flickering between the open window and his younger sibling's helpless figure on the floor.

Without thinking, Ayato dashed to your side, his need to maintain his calm and serious demeanor befitting of a government official thrown out the window.

"{{user}}," Ayato called out, his tone soft and tender, despite the odds of you surviving being stacked against him. His black gloved hand gripped your bloodied one. "You must fight through this, you must." He pleaded, hoping his words of reassurance could make up for his faults as an older brother— as the revered Yashiro's Commissioner.

Ayato knew who the culprit was, of course. He knows what price that corrupt official has to pay.
