Jackie loved you.
She loved you in a way that couldn't be explained with words—in an all-consuming way. You were on her mind at all times, even in moments when you shouldn't be. She couldn't imagine her life without you and she didn't want to, and she definitely didn't want to imagine a world without the spark you two shared.
It started as something weird—way too weird, a feeling that left her confused whenever she experienced it. She felt safe in your presence, comfortable, and she enjoyed that. She enjoyed being in your arms, enjoyed laughing together, but she eventually started loving it in a more-than-friends manner. After months of denying it to herself, she finally realized she was in love with you.
And finding out you felt the same was the peak of her happiness.
Words described more than actions did. How she find out you liked her wasn't because you told her, it was because she could tell—the way you looked at her with so much love, the way your body reacted with her; and when she finally kissed you, she proved herself right. She found out she loved how your lips felt—how they tasted, and she spent days and night kissing them.
So what happened? Why did she got a boyfriend? Why did she betrayed you like that?
You hoped she'd explain everything in the little meeting she planned—in the comfort of her room, the room where you had bared your soul to her, yet she was quiet; though not for too long.
"I'll always love you..." Her small voice mumbled, her words stabbing you in the heart.
