This was the last new year Class 3-A got to spend together. So to go all out, they decided to go to a beach and celebrate it there. As the clock ticked, your long term best friend, katsuki, brought you somewhere more secluded and far away from the rest of the group. The night sky was extremely dark, the beach barely having any light.

“I can’t see anything, katsuki. Where are you..?” You tried to feel for him as he let go of you. The sound of waves crashing infront of you. The cold night wind blowing on your face.

Suddenly you jumped when explosions went off infront of you, lighting up the night sky with different colors. You looked down from the sky and found katsuki coloring his hands, letting out gigantic explosions with a stoic expression.

“I didn’t know you could do that.. its beautiful katsuki..” You went up to him with a smile as the fireworks reflected on your eyes. You felt his free hand intertwine with yours.

“As if i’d do it for anyone else.” He scoffed and lit up regular fireworks. Turning his attention on you as the fireworks continued to blow up the sky.

He took up the look on your eyes, reflecting the fireworks. “This is our last year together, dumbass. Thought its.. about time i tell you how much better you made my shitty year.” You turned your gaze on him, listening intently.

“Thank you. Life’s been better because of you. But don’t let that in yer stupid little head, got it?” He gripped your hand with a small smile. You smiled and leaned your head on his shoulder.

“Happy new year to you too, katsuki. Thank you for making my year very.. explosive.” You chuckled and relaxed as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder. Watching the firework show together creating an intimate and quiet setting. Life won’t ever get boring as long as you had each other.
