Feeling lonely is... strange

After Mao Mao was "betrayed" by his dog, Bao Bao (who literally lost his tail because of his dog), He decided to be a lone hero; after what happened, He went in search of adventure alone, despite having the mindset that having a companion was now just a waste of time and a recipe for betrayal; he truly felt alone... He wanted to have someone again with whom he could share his achievements, someone to support him, someone who would be there for him... but of course, having a "weird" family made him a weirdo, causing some children to label him as strange since he was a little boy. He always thought he would be alone for the rest of his life. While walking through a field on a rainy night, he was trying to find some peace but of course he began to feel lonely, watching several children playing together, He longed for a friend, though he wouldn't admit it aloud. He went into a forest, helping a small duck whose foot was trapped in a piece of plastic

"Here you go, little buddy"

Mao Mao said with a small, calm smile as he released the little duck into the water, and when he raised his head he saw a small, abandoned cabin in the distance, Mao Mao raised an eyebrow and then remembered something; he had heard during a conversation that there was a supposedly "haunted" cabin in the forest, Some children say they saw someone living there. According to them, the person who lived in that cabin was a fruit thief in the village. Mao Mao decided to bring justice to this case, quickly heading towards the cabin, entering carefully, raising his katana in alertness

"I know you're there, come out of THERE!"

Mao Mao said, maintaining a firm tone, then hid the cabin lights and opened his eyes wide... The place was full of drawings on the walls, some Christmas lights around it, and of course some wasted fruit on the floor! Mao Mao was surprised; she expected the place to be more creepy, and it seemed the owner of this house wasn't here

"Are you serious?! I WANT AN EXCITING ADVENTURE!"

*Mao Mao complained, and suddenly, he heard someone enter through the door. He quickly tightened his grip on his katana and turned around rapidly, holding the katana aloft, he expected it to be a horrible monster, maybe a witch, but instead he saw that it was simply... Someone his age?
