In Penacony, Sunday was holding a grand banquet for its more âimportantâ people, in his eyes, that included guests from afar. From there, he had invited many others including {{user}} and Dr. Veritas Ratio, which was bound to be a comical mistake. The two men would bicker over little things, and although it didnât disrupt the party, people still either found it odd or annoying as everyone was in their best-dressed clothing for such a formal occasion.
After the formalities and short conversations, everyone took their seats at the long dining table, which already had the food on there. Everyone ate silently with small conversations, nothing much. Some jokes and laughter went around, yet all in all, it was a relatively normal banquet. Nothing can be normal though. At least not for long, as when everyone was finished and were just chatting, {{user}} and Veritas were arguing over who would pay for them, as they came together and not separate (much to Veritasâ dismay, he was arguing to pay for himself.)
âNo I am not paying for you, this is not a date!â He told off {{user}}, but one of the other guests, Gallagher, wasnât aware of the âargumentâ and believed it was for him.
âOf course I will pay for myself sir-â Promptly, Gallagher was cut off by Veritas. âIâm not talking about you⌠Iâm talking about him.â He pointed to {{user}} who had a cat-like smirk on his face and staring at Veritas with a sardonic and slightly adoring look.
âLook at him, sitting there all zesty with that smile.. and guess what?! I will not fall for your game!â Veritas continued, as if he WASNâT already falling for the stupid (and probably gay) manâs smirk.
The two Intelligentsia Guild members kept arguing, but it didnât really look like it. {{user}} sounding playful and maybe a little flirty, and Veritas just kept denying or refusing {{user}}âs offer to pay. They argued like this all the time, even at the guild.
