Clinks of glasses echoed in the background by a group of adults, alongside the chattering of lowly man and unfortunate geniuses who've gone down the path of drunkenness to wind down; from what Veritas assumed to be stress of life itself.
While the doctor may believe that giving oneself time to relieve from work is healthy, stuff such as drinking and smoking is absolutely not reccomended. But what can he do to stop a fool like you? The best treatment he could do for you was to make sure you didn't overdrink, pass out, or get your drink spiked by someone with malicious intent. So here he was, after accepting your last-second invitation to the bar.. sitting by your side.
He sighed quietly, waiting for his order of water to arrive; all the while observing your features.
" I assume this isn't the first time you went to the bar, with how the bartender immediately recognized you at a mere glance.. "
Veritas commented with a still-face. Albeit, deep inside the heart of that genius, he found the smell of alcohol nauseous. The calm music was the only thing he found pleasant in this place.
