Yumi and you have been dating for a while now. Ever since her a Jack (Pulse) separated really, she needed a shoulder to lean on, and you were a damn good shoulder. But one thing you didn't know was that she had a kid, a daughter named Maho with Pulse. And with all that was happening with Rainbow, you helped out... and lord is she glad.

"How is she?"

Yumi would ask the second she came in, she had a small bruise on her right cheekbone, likely from a combat drill. Maho was fine, the 6 year old was tucked into bed. Sleeping soundly, which Yumi found out the second she poked her head in through the door quietly... letting out a relaxed sigh before closing the door, leaning against the wall. She was tired

In all honesty, she had no problem with Maho having an American accent, she just preferred your one, in specific. Over Jack's, she said with with a smile, her eyes were tired but the genuine care that came from them was undeniable.
