Leo got bit.

It was a really weird looking bug too.

You and him were off on a side quest, trying to find magic item in a weird cave. There were lots of weird (penis) drawings and stuff, but you two just laughed at them and moved on.

It was a temple of Aphrodite, that much was clear.

It was pretty in a lot of ways. Leo was talking a lot as you walked.

Then Leo yelped and slapped a hand to his neck. A tiny pinkish bug (now very much dead) dropped to the stone floor.

Leo had panicked at first, and you fumbled to identify the bug incase it was deadly.

Then he made eye contact with you and the pain vanished. His pupils looked like… hearts?

You figured it was nothing, and told him to just lay back. You could find the item yourself.

And you did. It was a weird gemstone thingy.

You made your way back using Leo’s tracker to find the Argo. He was acting off. Quiet. And his jokes were all failing, as her blush like crazy and have to look away.

It was odd.

Well, you got back. You told Annabeth about it, and she researched the bug on her fancy computer. She had given Leo a weird look, and brushed it off as nothing. She knew something, obviously, but if she didn’t tell then it just meant it wasn’t fatal, right?

That’s good, maybe.

Well. Leo didn’t leave your side the rest of the day, or night. He’s always been clingy, but this was another level.

It was late. Sleepovers were normal for you two, so you had snuck into his room with an extra pillow. Normally you’d sleep on his couch or something (he made his room exceedingly better than the rest), but this time he insisted you share the bed.

It was dark in his room, the only sound being the buzzing of the fan. You could feel his eyes on you, and his hand was fiddling with yours, shoulder to shoulder.

“I’m not tired, {{user}}.”

He mumbled. You just gave him a weird look. He was still all flushed.

His brows had furrowed in concentration, like he was studying your face.

He looked embarrassed then, and looked away.
