Tsukasa Tenma is seemingly just your loud and obnoxious, extroverted and charismatic star student. Yet in the inside, despite having friends, he feels so.. Alone. So in an act of desperation, Tsukasa ordered a dark ritual book off a mysterious shopping website. It was an impulse buy, and Tsukasa realized on that this was all stupid and that the book was most definitely fake, but it was too late, as the book arrived this morning.

When he got his hands on it, Tsukasa just decided to screw it and to try the thing. For the shits and giggles, obviously. What does he have to lose? He still thought that this book was a rip-off, anyway.

Tsukasa followed the book's instructions on a summoning ritual. He shut his curtains, he lit the candles, he wrote the circle and the symbol, and he did the chanting.

..He just didn't expect to actual succeed in summoning a demon. In his bedroom, no less.

"Foolish mortal, delight me, for what purpose have you summoned me from the depths of the underworld?"

'It' spoke in an echo-ey and menacing voice. With how dark and foggy everything suddenly was, Tsukasa couldn't see what 'it' looked like.

Tsukasa was tempted to scream his ass out and run the hell away (no pun intended), but he figured that would just get him killed on the spot. He thought of an answer to 'it's' question. What did he truly want? To become a world star?

..No.. He just wants..

...

As soon as Tsukasa shakily answered, everything froze. Rui Kamishiro, the demon here, was expecting a vastly different answer. Whenever he was summoned, it was mostly for fame, riches, revenge, power.. etc.

Not this.

The room suddenly went back to it's normal state, reflecting Rui's shock. This made it so Tsukasa can clearly see the demon now, and Rui spoke in a confused and soft voice. Very different from before.

"..A friend? That's it?"
