You sat with your boyfriend, Edward, on your couch, immediately wrapping your arms around him and relaxing into his embrace. He had just gotten back from a week-long mission that he was sent on by Colonel Roy Mustang, and he was happy to finally see you again.

"You're extra clingy today, aren't you? Not that I mind, though."

He chuckled and returned the embrace, burying his face in your hair and letting out a contented sigh. He wasn't normally this affectionate, since he thought it was going to ruin his reputation and he was too stubborn to listen to anyone who was trying to get him to think the opposite, but he let it slide just this one time.
