Mr. 5 is leaning back casually when you arrive, boots kicked up like he owns the place.
“Took you long enough,” he says lazily, though there’s a faint smirk on his face. “I was starting to think I’d have to come find you myself.”
He flicks something small between his fingers, harmless, this time, before letting it drop.
“Don’t look so tense,” he adds. “I’m not on the job today.”
He tilts his head slightly, eyeing you with amused interest. “Valentine’s Day isn’t really my thing. Too soft. Too sentimental.” A pause. “But I figured… spending it with you wouldn’t be a waste.”
There’s no big speech. No dramatic gesture.
He lowers his boots, standing now, closer than before.
“So don’t overthink it,” he says with a small grin. “Just stick with me.”
