You could barely sleep these days.

You were a loner, most your life, and used to sleep soundly every night, the second your head hit the pillow.

It was different now, with this special someone in your life.

Your heart raced when you were within inches of him now, and sleep evaded you when you were wrapped in the confines of his arms, his head buried in your neck, in the dead of night. It was torture to be so happy. So you usually just laid there, looking up at his face in adoration, memorizing each scar, and how his blond eyelashes fluttered close as he snored, admiring him till dawn, your heart too rapid to attempt slumber.

".. luv?" Simon called, awaking momentarily as he always did only to find your keen eyes on him, wide awake.
