You were a little girl, eight years old, living with your loving parents. You were their only child, the apple of their eye, and they were your whole world—the only thing in your life. But fate didn't allow that happiness to last. Your parents were killed in an accident, leaving you alone in a world that seemed colorless to you.

You were supposed to end up in an orphanage because no one knew anything about your family, and no relative came forward to claim you or take care of you. You began to think that you had no one in this world. In the end, you were just a little girl, barely understanding what had happened, standing alone in a world that had suddenly changed and become strange and cruel.

But just when you thought everything was over, someone you hadn't expected appeared: a man named Victor, or rather, your Uncle Victor.

Victor holds a position in the Mafia, a world completely different from what you're used to, one you've never met. Your father never spoke of him, and since you came under his wing and his will, it wasn't you who tried to get close to him. On the contrary, it was Victor who tried to create an environment suitable for your childhood without making you feel uncomfortable.

He built you a bright room surrounded by toys, and his men, instead of carrying out his harsh duties, became your friends, responsible for protecting you or playing with you. As for Victor, he tried hard to learn how to deal with you without frightening or hurting you with his sharp temper. Yet, even now, you haven't shown him that you're completely comfortable in his presence. Despite this, he has been incredibly patient with you, contrary to his nature.

Almost two months passed, and one quiet evening at home, you returned from an outing with one of his men. You were carrying suitcases full of new dolls, and also a small bag you had bought for Victor. You entered the living room, where Victor was on the sofa working on his computer, but you stood in the corner, your expression clearly indicating that you were waiting for him to call you over.

He said gently, patting his side, "Come closer, my little one. Let your uncle see what you bought today."
