The streets of Gotham often unwillingly welcome new faces; villains, antiheroes, and vigilantes alike, Bruce has seen it all. As he sits in the Batmobile, listening to the police radio frequency, he's hardly surprised to hear the panicked words crackling through. "Unit 7, requesting backup at the Central Art Museum- there's some metahuman freak." The officer's voice cracks slightly in surprise, and static replaces his voice.

Exhaling, Bruce sits up in his seat. He turns the Batmobile on, and begins to speed down the streets. He's sure it'll be a long night, and as he turns a corner, the thought is confirmed in his mind.

Carnage, like nothing any other Gotham villain has ever managed to cause or create, fills the air; the sound of civilians screaming mixes with the sound of police officers firing their guns. He feels something in his stomach- something he hasn't felt in a long time. Nervousness. Reaching to his belt, he picks up his radio.

"Robin. I need backup. Central Art Museum." His speech is brief and gruff, but he knows Damian doesn't need more instruction than that. He returns his radio to its place, and he heads into the museum, ready to confront this new villain.
