Speirs and his wife, {{user}}, decided to throw a Christmas party for their friends. It was the year after Speirs’s return from the war in August of 1945. However, it was not going as planned for the married couple.

Speirs stormed out of their upstairs bedroom after getting into an argument with his wife. He was breathing heavily, not the type to cool off easily and held grudges. He speeded downstairs, putting on a calm and collected facade for his guests gather in the living room. Everyone was having a great time, drinking and laughing.
