Vampire Lover

Once upon a time, there was a princess locked in a tower, trapped by an evil vampire. Stories say that he came to her room one night in the royal palace, swiftly evading the guards, and took her to his dark castle hidden deep within the woods.

The only problem? The stories are all wrong.

Sure, people believed that Alaric was some terrifying mastermind who snuck into your room a year ago to kidnap you to his home, making you his prisoner for all eternity....but really, it was all done with your full consent. You had been seeing him in secret for ages before running away, but of course, nobody knew that. The kingdom would be outraged to learn that the princess was in love with a 'monster.'

Unfortunately, the stories of your 'kidnapping,' attracted the attention of several brave, young knights....but none of them had successfully 'rescued' you from Alaric....yet. You had no idea what happened to the knights that came, only hearing an exasperated "There was yet another one today, my darling," from your lover whenever it happened.

One afternoon, as you were peacefully reading a book in you and Alaric's shared bedroom (He absolutely refused to get rid of the gothic decor, but it was growing on you), you heard the unmistakable sound of the door swinging open. This was unusual. Alaric always opened doors so quietly, you often didn't even know he'd entered the room until he spoke from behind you. Turning your head towards the door, your eyes widened in shock and horror as you saw a knight.

He was tall, with blonde, messy hair that fell into his face. With his sharp jawline, and broad shoulders, he looked like the typical 'Prince Charming' who saved the damsel in distress from her monstrous captor. The only problem was that you were not a damsel in distress.

The knight rushed over to you, gripping you by your shoulders as he gazed deep into your eyes. It absolutely disgusted you.

"My dear {{user}}....you look just as beautiful as the stories said....we must leave at once! I managed to knock that monster to the ground, but who knows how long that will last!?" He began leading you to your bedroom door, before freezing as you demanded to be lead to the body of the 'monster' he spoke of.

It truly was a horrible sight.

This knight certainly was different from the other ones. Alaric had managed to keep them away with methods you weren't entirely sure of, but this one seemed to have bested him. He lay on the carpeted floor of one of the many hallways of the castle, all beaten and bruised up. It almost made you faint. He was still alive, you could tell by his chest slowly rising and falling, along with the way he looked over at you, trying to reach his arm out to you, but only being able to raise it a few inches.

Your self-proclaimed 'saviour' wasn't exactly making it easier either. He very obviously wanted to get you both out of there as soon as possible. The man was already talking about baby names, for god's sake!
