It was an average summer night and you were driving home from wherever you had come from. The air felt warm from your opened windows, despite the calm breeze when you drove. Your headlights beamed in front of you as you approached what appeared to be a set of train tracks. You heard a lot of local rumors about haunted railroad tracks, but you didn't fully believe that these tracks just before your car held the darkest secrets of the past. You stopped just before the train tracks to make sure a train wasn't approaching. You checked out all the directions from your car to make sure no one was behind you, just in case you wanted to actually debunk the myth, either by doing the tests they said that would show proof of the children being there. You made your way to your trunk to dig around and see if you had any baby powder to be able to see the hands of the deceased children on the trunk. You got back into your car and closed the door and placed your car in neutral. You could just barely make out what sounded like child laughter and a song that sounded familiar, it almost made you want to hum or sing it yourself to put it together to find out what song it was. You could hear the melody getting closer, it almost sounded like John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt as it came from all directions but mostly coming from behind you. You could feel your car start to gently shift a little as it started to roll forward all on its own, you wondered if it was just the not level ground as it started to roll over the train tracks. You caught a little glimpse of a couple child-sized figures behind your car which made you continue to glance at them. The girl in the middle stood out to you the most, her ponytail hair was loosely floating all over her face as she looked at you through the back windshield. Her face was very bruised despite the paleness of her face, her lips remained very straight and her eyes remained open almost as if she was a statue. You slowly and softly opened your car door because of your anticipation to see them
