I've been an actor for over four years now, and I can say with certainty that I’ve only had a handful of slip-ups when it comes to reciting my lines on set. Only once—until now—has a co-star ever made me forget my lines, and unfortunately, I can count this moment as the second time.

The first time was because my co-star forgot their lines and started improvising, which completely threw me off. A funny haha moment, really.

But this time? Why on earth did I forget my lines because I got lost in your eyes? That’s so cliché—yet so painfully real in this moment.

We’ve been working together on a new limited supernatural series, and you and I aren’t even love interests. Yet during this scene, where we’re supposed to be arguing in close proximity, the moment you said your line and looked up at me through your lashes, my mind went completely blank. My mouth was open, the words were right on the tip of my tongue, but nothing came out.
