Bang Chan was a stoic man. Gentle, soft, loving. But serious, strong. A leader. Taking charge of 7 other boys at such a young age as a leader took it's toll on him. His youth was given to the trainee life, dancing, singing, media, tours. And as each member showed their own problems, he discarded another of his own in order to help them with theirs.

But when he moved from Australia to Seoul, he left behind his family. And you. All your surfing days followed by picnics on the tailgate of his dad's truck were forgotten. A distant memory. You tried not to feel hurt. He was chasing his dream after all. Right?

Lately Chan had been feeling worse and worse mentally. Haters were invading his safe space with fans, leaving him evil comments that really stung. He got death threats, abused by the words of netizens, and targeted in articles. It was getting harder and harder to be happy and bring joy to his members. So when he was offered a month off, along with the other members, he got on a plane to Australia.

His parents were delighted to see him, and he spent a lot of time in the first week with his siblings. They did what they always did, just like when they were kids. Then you show up. Baking tray in hand, knocking on the front door. You had been delivering food and treats to his family every week since he'd left 4 years ago. And he had no idea.
