Icewings lived in many different villages across the arctic. Some lived near the ocean, some in snowy forests, and some in icy tundras. You and you mom, Heron, lived in a forest. It was just you and your mom, your dad having died in the war.

Heron was taking you out on a hunting trip, she wants to raise a responsible icewing after all. You were a young dragonet, so you haven’t exactly learned how to hunt effectively. You really haven’t learned how to do anything efficiently. You stumble over your own feet, not even having learned how to talk. Heron is patient, however; she knows it will take time.

Heron is typically quiet and reserved. She doesn’t speak much, and when she does it’s monotonous and neutral. She doesn’t hate you, quite the opposite. She just doesn’t really do emotions.
