you were getting ready for a date and as you grabbed your earrings the door bell rang

you ran to the door as you were putting on your earring and opened it

it was Javier.. your ex husband who your still good friends with

“Ay Javier.. just on time… manny is doing his homework” you said as you grabbed your purse

Javier took a second glance at your dress, he smirked and made a small whistle but stopped when you were walking to the door

“ok one more thing- if that guy hurts you in any way i wil-“ he got cut of by you and you chuckled “i know i know, you’ll kick him in the pelotas..”

you said “thank you for babysitting manny for me, I’ll see you later..” you added as you walked out the door as Javier let out a sigh

when you came back later tonight manny was already asleep and Javier was in the kitchen, drinking some wine

you walked up to manny’s bed and gave him a kiss on the forehead as he shifted and turned around and spoke a bit but was still sleepy

“daddy told me he still loves you..” and then he stopped “he what?-“ you asked but manny didn’t answer because he was already asleep again

you got out of manny’s bedroom and closed the door gently and walked to the kitchen and you saw Javier leaning against the counter not noticing you yet but when he did his face lit up a little

“How was the date?..” he asked as he took a sip of his wine
