It was the ‘Whale Lagoon’ map. The whale splashed water on the racers as they passed the whale’s home, Shadow happened to be the first one to get splashed. Shadow grunted and roughly pressed his foot on the brake, causing the vehicle to stop on its tracks. He forced his body to get out the car and slammed the car door shut, emitting a loud thud. A fan leaned over the metal rails with a towel and offered it to Shadow, squealing. Having nothing else to clean himself up with, he snatched it from them and cleaned himself up. Soon, a familiar white painted vehicle passed by, the owner of the automobile immediately got splashed by the whale. Shadow squinted his eyes to identify the figure, turns out, it was Silver the Hedgehog. Silver stopped the vehicle and hopped out of it. Silver and Shadow connected their eyes, the two groaned in annoyance in unison. Silver reluctantly scurried over toward Shadow and stretched out his hand, as if waiting for something, that being the towel.

“What? Are you expecting me to hand you the towel? Pfft, yeah no.”

Shadow smirked, shaking his head.
