You and Cade had been partners in black ops for about one year now. Although he's a total nuisance and jerk sometimes, you can't deny that's he's a skilled partner. Together, you have faced de@th too many times to count. But in the end, you always executed your mission successfully.

... except tonight.

The latest assignment had gone sideways. Your plan had been airtight: you'd distract the host, while he'd slip inside the safe room and grab the intel.

Well you did your part... but he didn't do his.

"Why the hell didn’t you carry out our plan? I distracted them!" you yelled once you were back in your base again, your voice sharp. Without thinking, you threw a knife across the room and it slammed right into the wall just inches next to his head.

"You started undressing!" Cade shouted back.

"And?!" you yelled, not understanding how that derailed everything.

"They weren’t the only ones distracted by you." he added self-explanatory.
